Does anyone here use these guys? Does it pay off? Is it like the hun but you have to pay?

I actually did pay but can't seem to communicate with them either. Don't think they're a rip off yet, but what does anyone with experience think?

Poor quality, although saying that about any TGP is accurate, it's poorer than most.

The owner is Pierre and the site is based in the Netherlands and the likelihood of communicating with him is slim.

He was pretty cool, when I first asked him to look at a gallery before I signed up. Besides the fact that it's tgp, he's not a rip off or anything, right? I mean how could he have lasted this long.

I could give a shit about the hundred bucks I'm just curious if you've heard any crazy compliants, even if they weren't verified

I think I'm cool, Hammer. I'm over on another board getting harrassed for even suggesting they might be a rip off (which I didn't do, but somehow it was interpurted that way).

Hey, I just gave you points with The Shemp and just signed up on his board. I don't want to sound like I'm blowing the guy but it is sort of impressive the way he takes his time to talk to "newer" webmasters when he could be doing better things, don't you think?

Even the other big shots that helped me out had to be emailed first (nothing against this either because this is impressive in itself but I'm just saying).

Anyway, yeah, they sort of imploded on themselves overthere which can only be expected. That place is a kick though

The problem I have with most of these TGPs that are now selling partner accounts is that they offer no guarantee that your galleries will be listed. They claim you can submit 30 galleries thus implying that they will add one of your galleries every day but they won't necessarily list any of your galleries. They also over sell their spots because they want to make money.

I had no idea TGP partner accounts were like that. Sounds like you would be better off buying links.

No guarantee, which is why I don't bother. This was mentioned on another thread months back where someone speaking with a well known TGP owner revealed said owner said sth along the lines of "oh, you mean the REAL partner accounts?", so I'm even less than lukewarm to the whole TGP thing these days mostly b/c as a newbie it seems ROI in terms of time and energy would be low.

Yep. That same $100 spent on Choker's gallery traffic at $1/k would generate 100,000 guaranteed gallery hits.

I dealt with them before a long time ago in a distant galaxy far far away, but not sure I knew what I was doing at that time...

Can I buy traffic from them and send it directly to one of my tgp's or does it have to come off of a gallery (or something like that if I remember incorrectly...)

Skimmed traffic is more likely to close the browser than clicked gallery traffic. In both cases they are looking for free porn..that is true.

His $1/k gallery traffic has to be sent directly to a gallery.

Another side benefit is that since you're paying for the clicks you can get away with a few more outbound links than you would if you submitted the gallery to a TGP.

Hammer, I always thought what you meant by buying traffic for a tgp was as a little bonus traffic for one that you submitted to someone. But what your saying above is you can have your own tgp the way you want it just sitting on your server, and then buy traffic to come to it?

If so Would it be worth it? Of course I know it depends on how good your tgp is, niche and quality of traffic. I just always thought it was meant as bonus traffic for one already submitted.

I'll have to check him out again. I'm actually looking for something a little better than just the $1k where I have to use a gallery, but I might be able to spin that.

What I'd like to do is get at least one in the alexa ranking area where it's more than just a glorified link dump. I've gotten a couple overall sites (traffic hubs) there a couple times, but mostly from being listed an unusal amount of times on the hun during a one month period (which is kind of deceptive, but what the hell).

I'd like to be able to control that because the way I feel a tgp is nothing if it doesn't get massive traffic. I have to put some more conscious effort into researching some of this traffic purchasing.

Just got a post to Al4a so I guess my questions were answered about my submission procedure. Been using Richards Realm too.

On the hun today (been a while for here and always a surprise what he ends up accepting). Have a gallery I wanted to try to World from this same domain, but I think I'll wait until the hun runs it's course.

I'm a little paranoid about getting a movie gallery on World and the hun at the same time and frying the servers if you get hit by world the way the hun hits you
