How do I become a porn guru?

This is a question that I have mulled over many many times in my mind: How do I become a porn guru? I want to know the ins and outs of having fun and making money with one of our favorite subjects, porn.

Right now, I am learning how to program/design web pages via HTML, XHTML, and CSS. This process is a bit slow as I am busy with my day job and all. I have read all that I could on Cozyfrog.com.

In addition to my learnings, I have a domain and some basic adult hosting. What else do I need to do? I need places to learn more about making money with porn, web design, traffic generation, etc. Please help. I am willing to learn the path to success. Thank you for reading and for your advice.

Well, in case you didnt know it will take a lot of time and even more hard work. You will need to build a network of sites and farm some traffic.

This takes time and diligence.

Where to learn? Have you read everything at the cozy academy yet? If not, run don't walk there right now!

You have a lot to learn and the only way to do it is through trial and error. Sorry but there is no magic path to take.

Guru means teacher. When you know enough to teach others you'll be a guru.

Build your own network of sites; look at it as a pyramid with traffic going upwards from low to higher quality sites. The sites sitting on the top should get traffic and links from your network below. Learn about SEO from the start, sites at the bottom of the network should be all SEO and little design. Find ways to link launder, what I mean by this is if you set up a TGP rather than link back to the TGP with the recip. link use the URL of you latest blog, gaining one way links from all accepted galleries

Think BIG, the sites getting allot of traffic have allot of pages indexed in Google. I buy databases then use them to make sites with 100,000 to 100,000,000 pages. With no effort, these sites would be at the very bottom of the network. A good example is a joke site with 100,000,000 jokes in the DB, with a little {ok this is the hard part} effort you could get allot of the one million pages indexed. Put links to cam sites, dating sites on each page. DB's of collage and university information can make good sites to sell dating sites on.

Allot of people say my traffic converts this or that, when all they do is submit galleries, to other peoples traffic sources TGP’s and link lists. The danger in this is that you depend on someone else, who could turn off the traffic at any time. I used to do exactly this. I was paying for spots only to find the owner was linking to free hosted galleries from the same sponsor, if I changed sponsor I would normally find the owner following.

What I would also say is not to spend too much time learning html css or php. If it's natural then that’s a bonus. Just learn enough to get going, once the money starts to come in invest it back into your business. You can pay a bunch of programmers in India to do the hard work while you control your money making network. Networking and marketing makes the money not fancy css.

There is allot of information out there people don’t give this away free, they earn when you earn. Listen to people who know, I wasted allot of time doing thing I was told not to do, I couldn’t get my head round why people where telling me how to make money. The money coming in will begin slowly maybe nothing for 2 months then it's like a snowball effect. The work your doing today will pay off in 6 - 12 months. Plug away for 12 months investing all money back into your network, at this point you should be able to evaluate your network as a business.

The secret is it costs money to make money, good hosting is not cheap, and the cheap deals tend to be slow oversubscribed servers. When Google comes to index your sites a fast response from your server will mean more pages get indexed with each visit and you won’t get your account suspended if you get a link on the hun.

This sounds interesting. Where do you find your databases? What are the good places?

Also what's up with your sig links. Are those the kind of sites you're talking about building?

Hey anotherF. I bet you're the guy spamming my message boards. The links in your signature leads to a blog that looks like has been spammed the hell out of. I may have had the pleasure of banning you in the past. Other then that good advice, except I would say that quality over quantity counts for something too. Build something that fills a need in a whole bunch of people and learn some basic business principles and the money should follow. And if the porn industry doesn't work, go into the real estate market and make millions flipping houses. Oh wait. Nevermind.

Why do you want to be a porn guru? Or perhaps you just used the wrong word, since as it's been pointed out, a guru teaches. If you what you meant to ask was how can you become a porn mogul, then all the learning in the world won't matter until you've actually put it into practice and worked very hard, spent a lot of money, and gotten lucky in some cases.

Not always spending lots of money, but your time is the most valuable.............Unless your unemployed or homeless, but in that case I would look into MANPOWER rather than sitting at a computer.... but assuming that's not the case, then read on!

Read about 50% of every message that the folks that answered your question wrote (via search) from your last thread, and you'll have more knowledge than ANY of your peers, or even mine. (Takes time, but beats school, at least you can smoke a joint while you do so without getting in trouble)

These are good folks giving golden information almost daily! I'm still surprised after all these years people are looking for an easy buck! I made money quick, but I studied the FUCK out of everything Cozy has to offer before I posted my first thread.

Really, there's a world out there that may be outdated somewhat, but the basics hold true.........Just read the Cozy Bible at
http://cozyacademy.com/

However, this thread has been great in the proper use of linguists, I must concur.

Guru or Mogul? I'm just a nihilist with a good sense of sales and a hit-or-miss attitude, but would always love to meet the peeps on this board one day.

Good luck mate, let us know your endevors and how they work out!

The people I think of as gurus - all possess a deep knowledge of the core aspects of doing business online.

They all understand the - technical, sales & marketing, content production and billing methodologies, rates, technologies and equipment. And most excel in 2 or more of these domains.

They accumulated this knowledge by spending years immersed in the - learning and doing – of the business.

Most moguls I’ve encounted, are not by nature - gurus. The guru is a special open source type of person who gets a kick out of sharing.

Who can be a guru here? Anybody that has taken the time to learn something of value/relevance - and shares it.

I think CozyAcademy is great. There is so much information there - so much to read and learn. It will take a month to get through all the information....and than I'll have to read it all over again. I'll still be a newbie

The links in my sig should have been deleted. They point to a place to get links from .edu domain. I dont spam, the .edu forum is fair game, the only thing on it is spam.
