Good Newsletter Distribution?

Does anyone here use a distribution service for an adult related newsletter?

I've found several services offered online that distribute newsletters by maintaining your email list, offering templates for newsletters, making auto-replies to subscribers easy, allowing scheduled emails, and providing statistics.

However, none of them allows adult material.

Is there a company out there offering this service to adult related companies?

That link is used by a friend of mine, I would suggest it's a good option to pursue. There is the other one, I have to figure that out though, but I'll get back to you.

This isn't a mail service, rather a newsletter manager that you install yourself on your own server.

I use it for several clients, the most I've sent out is about 9000 at a time.

I find it brilliant and it's free! It offers all the same features as the paid mailing services.

If you can install and run WP you should find it a breeze. If you get stuck the support forum usually has the answer.

Problem is, won't I still then have to find a script to handle a double-opt-in sign up on my site, and then another script to handle the actual mailing out of the newsletter?

No! It does it all. It's totally compliant with the data protection act.

Actually... I am vaguely remembering someone advising me against using a mail service as your entire database is then at their fingertips. And therefore possibly breaching the DPA.

Perhaps someone else can shed light on that.

Newsletter Service

I'm using My Newsletter Builder for http://www.mynewsletterbuilder.com for my new series of marketing newsletters. I use the word adult and my logo, but I'm not sure if they would be ok with adult content. It's worth a try. They're system is nice and quite user friendly.
