wp permlink structure to "pretty".
im trying to change my wp permlink structure to "pretty". my hosting company said i need to change my .htaccess file to suite. how do i go about doing that. i use cpanel on my hosting account and my hosting company is with xxxadult hosting. i have no idea how to make this adjustment. i make the change in wp but then the links go to 404 pages. please help!!

When you make the changes to your permalinks in WP, it shows a little box with some code in it.
Copy that code into a text file, name it .htaccess and upload it to your root directory.
