Paysite Joins from One Small City?

I've had a recent batch of signups to my site that are causing a little bit of concern. I have noticed that in the last ten or so signups, perhaps eight of them are from Yellowknife.

Now Yellowknife is a pretty small place. And, my site doesn't get a LOT of signups yet. So to see a bundle of signups suddenly come in from one place, and keep coming... well it makes me suspicious.

Do you guys think I need to be worried?

The only thing I can think of that would explain it is possibly someone has stolen some credit card numbers there...

Or maybe a group of kids (who shouldn't be seeing my material) have stolen their parents' credit cards?

The only other thing I can think of is that perhaps someone in Yellowknife found the site and told their friends and word of mouth did it.

Any ideas?

Seriously though can't you find out from your pmt processor if its different credit cards?

Don't a lot of truckers dead-head there? You see about Yellowknife on 'Ice Road Truckers' and all about the Diavik diamond mine... Maybe they just moved in a bug horny crew who all have credit cards and talk about your site?

i'd check into possible fraud, sounds like someone may be stealing cc#'s.

Didn't Lana have a similar situation happen a while back, and it was an affiliate using stolen CC info or something?

Hey boys, yeah I'm still around. Thanks for thinking of me. I've been out of it for a while. I broke my leg on the last day of skiing (so not much filming) and we've been caught up in our mainstream ventures but I'm back and Lana's back into it.

Thanks for pointing out your thread.. now that I've seen it, I absolutely remember you posting about that!

I've contacted Verotel about the issue and we'll see what happens. I'm pretty sure it's stolen credit cards.

Just to update, they've had their fraud department look at the transactions, and they all seem just fine. They're keeping an eyeball on them for me though.
