The top amateur photo community on the internet with over 1 and 1/2 million members. Charges for 'premium' membership. Alexa rank of 4,009. I just checked the main page and it says that over 4,000 members are logged in at the moment with 2,000+ online 'guests' on top of that.

I'm developing a similar type site at the moment and was just wondering how many $$$ a day profit people think this one must make.

They get 140k visitors a day and are basically the equivalent of a TGP. It'a a free site so their membership claim doesn't mean much. Idoubt they publicly share their income figures though.

I've seen that site before. They do have a "premium membership" option. I've been wondering about how much $ these types of sites make b/c I've been seeing more and more of them popping up.

I have known about that site for some time now, basically an amateur with a free section and premium membership. I never really frequented it, always impressed me as being too commercial, not real peoples submissions in other words, but I could be wrong.

There are a couple of other sites of that same ilk that I go to from time to time, real folks posting, hubbies that like to posts their wives, etc. With some good sponsors and such I would venture to guess they do pretty well, I would assume the loyal members from the free site do join up for membership ultimately.

Seems like it may be a good venture, though I've never fully understood how the compliance issue applies to those sites.

newbie nudes was good for a while. i think it has become too much of a free for all.

frankly i think flickr mops the floor with them. there's a skyrocketing amateur porn participation there. $25 for an unlimited upload "pro" flickr account, and dls are free. i can't see why anyone would want to use nn over that.

I expect that dating sponsors convert fairly handily on them. If they have a premium membership option they could even run their own affiliate program.

As far as compliance issues are concerned I assume that NN and most other amateur community sites are based outside of the USA. How the hundreds of porntube style sites showing amatuer teen hardcore movies get around 2257 is probably a bigger question. I think 99% of the amateurs who post on these sites are wives and MILFS anyway. In my case I wouldn't allow any nudity from anyone looking under 21.

I think the Viking said here once that the key to success is automation. It seems to me that in these 'post your wife' type of sites the visitor or member does half the donkey work of the webmaster.

I came across to that site, I think its earning since the stat, the number are really good plus its been updated daily. And the site is growing...
