I'm curious as to whether fake breasts are just as popular as they ever were in the porn world...

It used to seem that fake breasts were a requirement of the biz...

And I would have assumed it's less like that now...

and yet, I see even the next-door types getting them.

Do you think the trend for fake breasts in porn will ever die out?

Having big, perky boobs is the way media always shows the popular girl. It's even more so today, all about how you look.

Saying real boobs are "in" does not change a girls mind that hers are small. So it will not change, and may get even more speed.

I myself go for average, perky real tits. But fake boobs on a small girl look really good too!

I always had a thing for small perky tits so I am not sure if my opinion is not biased, but I never understood fascination with big tits.

Recently one girl that I believe has shapely B sized breast with just right nipples told me that she is considering getting the fake boobs because ‘she fears that in a year or two her natural ones will start sagging and if she gets a fake ones she will have them the same shape for life’

I tried to talk her out of it. What do you think?

I would talk her out of it, but I can see why it's attractive to her.

The biggest reason I wouldn't get the surgery is that it looks so unnatural a lot of the time (I believe finding a great surgeon and planning for a decent size would help in this department).

Also, the risk of complications, and the fact that they tend to have a life of just ten years, meaning you have to get them replaced usually.

I think I'd prefer to wait until I'm older and then get a lift one day.

I can enjoy both small tits and big tits but either way I much prefer real tits. Even in a brief encounter (which most of my encounters seem to be ) it's the person behind them that turns me on. I do notice their tits, of course, but a big smile is more important to me.

IMO I think most guys don't like breast implants but they go along with them because they still want to fuck the chick. I think in most cases it's the girl that has convinced herself that she needs bigger boobs.

I'll admit that I like big tits although it'a not a requirement. I don't mind fake big tits either as long as they don't look fake and unfotunately they usually do. However, I don't think that it's the porn biz that drives women to get boob jobs, I think it's the perception that all men like big tits and keeping up with tht percetion that causes it. I'm sure that a very small percentage of boob jobs are done on women that appear in porn.

Can't remember how long ago it was (few years back at least), but I remember seeing a special on 60 Minutes about plastic surgery in Brazil (Rio probably) and how the women there were doing the opposite and getting breast reductions.

As was said, it's mostly what goes on inside a women's mind that cause them to want breast implants as opposed to what guys actually want.

Personally, I like smaller breasts but if a girl gets them done correctly and the right size for her frame, they look nice. They can also fill out certain outfits better which I know is a big factor in getting them.

But I suppose if guys had to walk around with their cocks hanging out there would be a lot more penis enlargement surgeries.

I really believe it's more of a cultural thing than anything else. The US is one of the countries where breasts implants are extremely popular. Nowadays, American girls are getting them as young as 15-16yrs old.

I saw a clip from the last Miss USA (or miss America) pagent, and it looked like nearly every contestant had implants. Plus, Playboy magazine has become the ideal image for the American girl (blonde, thin, with big fake boobs). When men and women see that image of society, they feel like that's how a girl should look.

If you go to Europe or Asia, you'll see that things are quite different there. Breasts implants haven't become a cultural phenomenon like they have in the Americas.

Hammer, I agree that the majority of women are getting implants and it has nothing to do with porn.

More, I was just talking about porn specifically and how it's almost a requirement if a girl wants to make it.

I agree with everyone here on the issue. It's too bad more women didn't feel secure with their bodies. I don't understand though why there seem to be men out there who REALLY encourage implants. I've met many myself who think that it would be the greatest thing if their girlfriend or wife would just go ahead and do it.

I think it's frightening that anyone who is under the age of at least 20 would get them. I didn't have breasts practically until after my first pregnancy. I went from an almost A cup to a D... and I've been a natural C ever since.

I think these days young lads reaching puberty look at the women of their fantasies, on Baywatch or whatever the latest equivalent is, and see that the most desirable women in their world all have implants.

So if implants look that good on Pamela Anderson then, in his opinion, they'll look good on his high school sweetheart ... at least they'll make her look more like Pamela and less like Brenda Bigmac.

Roll that attitude on a couple of generations and it's easy to see how implants can become as normal as lip gloss.

There's a highly enjoyable, and scary, novel by Ben Elton called 'Blind Faith' that is set in the not too distant future. Implants are the social norm and women who don't have them are seen as weird. And most of life is conducted on the Internet ...
