Niche blog advice

I wanted to create a blog featuring erotica written my me personally, as well as sexual health articles for men and women. And reviews of movies and toys. Does anyone think this may be better done by breaking it down into smaller blogs? For example, the adult site I have is www.bbwnastycams.com. Should I just create a bbw blog? Keep the erotica and articles and reviews focused to bbw's? And when I want to expand pick another niche and make a blog and cam site for it?


What is your opinion?

I think the erotic stories, sexual health and reviews can stand on it's own if you do it right. The niche could simply be "sexual health and exploration", and just tailor the blog to fit that. That will keep it very general and more main stream.

If you want to get away from the health and lifestyle side and get into more erotic bbw and other things, then I'd separate it.

Do product/movie reviews push it out of the mainstream? I'd like to explore this idea a little more, if you wouldn't mind...

I think you would do well with a blog featuring your erotica, articles, advice, etc. It would give you lots of possibilities for posts, and lots of things to keep the surfers interested.

I don't think you need to break it down into smaller blogs or specialties, but you could make it all focused on just BBW if you wanted.

Yeah you could do all of that and keep it mainstream. You just gotta be careful about what you're reviewing. It's kind of hard to go off target on product reviews (dildos, sex machines, etc can all be applied to sex health and exploration); but you gotta be more careful with movies and websites.

I could see you easily getting away with reviews of Candida Royalle type stuff, etc. (Basically anything you can apply to both men & women and couples, and relay it as sexual enhancement). But when you start reviewing Anal whores vol 28, you're kind of out-stepping the bounds of mainstream .

Thank you for the ideas/opinions. When I read the critique from balls_deep, I was laughing, I thought it was a friendly slap at Hammer, since he built the thing, after all. I don't bruise as easily as I used to, so no harm, no foul.

I was a virgin when I married, and had no idea what sex was, other than I had seen cattle and cats do it on the farm as a child. So I went a little crazy and bought all kinds of books, and we watched porn, and all that fun stuff. And since I don't have a sister or a really close female friend- after 14 years of marriage I found out not only do other wives not even consider doing the things I do, they actually use sexual favors as bargaining tools. So I have no idea what is out of the mainstream, myself. Good thing I can ask questions here!
