Bulk Content Purchase

I'm a new adult video producer. My site has about 30 scenes. I'd like to make a bulk purchase of non-exclusive content to offer to my members as a way of keeping some people around awhile longer than my self-produced content can handle. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get a good deal on some quality content? Primarily b/g hardcore?

To keep things in perspective, I'm looking to spend $300-$500.

I've commented on your site before, and I don't think lack of content is your problem. You've got 30 scenes, and I've seen sites start up with 5 scenes or less and still hold members. Plus, from a marketing standpoint, I think it would be better to keep only your own self produced content (or at least all exclusive content).

Honestly, (and I mean no offense) I think you really need to go back and polish up your product [that means better videos (production and quality wise) and better site design], and probably re-define your niche. You're in a very tough niche. I wouldn't even attempt to get into that niche unless I could really separate myself from the pack, cause now adays every guy with a video camera is doing what you're doing.

Couple things.

You're basing the quality of my content on the trailers which are very low quality samples of the actual product.

The website I do intend to redo. I paid someone to do that one for me and while they did do it to my specifications, I'm not thrilled with it either. I'm learning slowly. Thankfully, I'm pulling in about 1 member per day which certainly won't get me rich but it pays for the content while I redo it.

I did take your advce as far as the niche. I'm currently working on www.BlowjobFairies.com( i know, blowjobs are all over the place but NOT Blowjob Fairies who whisper manfantasy words into your ear) and www.UltimatePillowFighting.com. (you'll just have to see that one. Hard to explain)

These are the first sites I've ever designed so yes, I know they have a lot of work to be done to them but I'll get there.

I've decided to no longer pay anyone to do this stuff for me. It will be exponentially slower but I must learn this business from the bottom up and not rely on others to do my work for me.

I'm in no way offended by the criticism of people more successful than myself. That would be idiotic. I thought maybe you guys have cozyacademy2 where you don't give people advice, you just make fun of the mistakes the newbies make and don't tell them about it. That would be offensive:-)

You don't have a lot of opportunity to hook someone to sign up for your site. People want to know what they're gonna get when they pull out their money. They want to KNOW what kind of quality they're going to get, not have to guess at it. You should make it real clear so we don't have to guess. People like me see trailers like that and think, "no way I'm paying 20 bucks for that" and we're gone!

I would agree, you don't need to buy content if you are adding updates at least once a week. 30 scenes is more than some sites a I see launch and they get sales. You can pad up the members area though which sometimes helps with rebills.

I disagree with the negative outlook on your site though. For some reason I see potential in your ideas. I would say design is not your strongest quality so you will want to hire a designer to build your tours. Seems like your first one didn't work out so well, so make sure to do some research before hiring again.

I don't see any problems based upon what is typically defined as trademark infringement.

And my previous comments were directed to the luvinmouthfulls site the OP created. I haven't examined these new sites he linked to yet.

That is'nt $3/scene filler content, but you can get 10-15 nice hardcore HD scenes for the money you plan to spend.
