Free resources From Sponsors

Hi, Folks,

Would some of you like to make a comment on how to use all the free resources offered by sponsors? A short while ago, I had problems with one accounts handler for a sponsor, fortunately resolved, and signed up with a few more only to find the resources they offered I could not use.

It seems to be looking a gift horse in the mouth. They have hosted galleries, movies, banner farms. But I don't know where these could be used. They cannot be submitted to link lists. The thumbs in the galleries would not be accepted in many cases, either, if I were to copy them into my own free sites to use that way. But lots of people must be making money out of them or the sponsors would not go to that expense.

Hosted galleries are generally used to puff up your own sites, like if you create a TGP or fake TGP, if you have some kind of free site that needs extra content, or if you have a blog and want to post photo content daily.

I occasionally receive (unrequested) content CD's in the mail from sponsors that contain all of the stuff you've mentioned. Don't worry, you're not crazy, 99% of it is unusable. Just like we do sometimes, this is a spray-and-pray tactic. "Lots" of people are NOT making money off of this stuff, but some are, so it's worth it to them.

I would suggest ALWAYS using programs that give you content and/or site access to grab your own.

FHG's can then be used as templates.
