Image alignment in WP??

When I use the insert image thing in WP, NOT the uploader, it gives you an option about alignment. Top, bottom, middle, absolute bottom, etc.

No matter what one I use, if the image is not wide enough my text starts at the top, next to the picture on the right hand side. Anyone know how to get the picture to stay on top with all text under it??

bill, this is in your template. you need to find the code that defaults your images to the left and remove it.

I can give you the code to replace and buffer your images.

but you will need to edit each post you have already made.

another option would be to put enough <br> or <p> between the image and your text.

Thanks balls, I'll dig through it sometime, or just use the <br> code. I'm posting some stuff for someone else's blog too, so I can't do any editing there. But maybe that theme is ok. A few more writing gigs and I'll have full time work online!

Is the text underneath in the editor but not when you publish? Or is it never under the picture in both the editor and when published?

Hey Jim, the text is under the picture in the editor, but when it's published it gets thrown to top right of picture. Just for the record what alignment code means picture on top, align top, bottom, baseline or what?

I'm always 100% honest, and I will tell you that I am not having hardly any traffic at all. I get about 20 to 40 uniques a day. I have not made one single cent with my affiliate stuff, that is those banners for wigs, hot clothes and stuff. In goggle adsense I make about 20 cents per day.

When I made a profile on that big CD place urnotalone for 4 days I had hundreds of uniques a day, and 7 bucks or so a day in adsense. That's because they put new members on the front page.

Because it's mainstream and a very specific niche, it will take a long time to make money. I will be happy making 40 bucks a day in 8 months with it.

BUT, it has given me a lot of practice, and my CD porn blog I am making will use a lot of the reworded post in it. So it has been well worth it and given me a lot of ideas. Because of this site my CD blog I think will be very successful.

Bill, that is one seriously good blog. Have you registered it with the search engines? If not, follow this link over to Tooter - you can use it free for a month and you will get loads of helpful stuff to get registered where you need to.

If it does well for you, you decide how much to contribute after the first month. He suggests $10 per year, but if you are broke don't worry, he will accept less. And if it doesn't work for you, just leave.

Hi horney. Yes google has it, and a few others. In fact once I make a post and ping google, If I type in my permalink heading in search about 30 minutes later, it's in the number one spot. So they are indexing it fast. I just don't seem to get any search engine traffic, don't know why.

I have a lot of post that show up on the first page with different key words, but the only traffic I seem to get is from where I have links. I also use seo pack for wp, so my site is damn seo friendly. I know if enough people I am targeting read it, they would bookmark it. I just can't seem to get them the first time????

your site is still in the sandbox bill. give it a few more months and the SE traffic should pick up.
