Whats up with Godaddy?
Looking at domains, im going to assume that godaddy is the best option. I don't like how they don't have a toll free number though. I don't see live chat help either. Do i need a credit card to register with Godaddy?

I believe they only accept payment via credit card so you will need one. If you don't have one or can't get one you can always get a prepaid visa or mastercard.
I never noticed they don't have an 800 number...strange for such a big company. I have used them for about 6 years for domains and haven't had any problems.

Cool thanks im going to go for the prepaid card. Im gonna look around a little bit. Got a lot of stuff i gotta do. It's the holidays i got a million things on my mind.
 Checking out hosting options as well. Hey im Rob i am new to the Cozy Campus Forums.

I've also used GoDaddy for about six years now and haven't had any issues. Anytime someone asks about them, everyone says that they are great for domains.

I've been using them a couple years for hosting and domains. They don't have an 800 number I guess, but they don't keep you hanging on the line for a thousand years either. Now, what they can do for you when they get on the line is a whole different story. They don't have the best support.
If you're just doing basic sites and splogging they're great because they're cheap and save on a lot of bandwidth, but the second you get into scripting, even with good scripts like comus, you're going to have problems. So use them to start out, especially for galleries and stuff, but keep your eye open for someone else, if you want to use traffic and tgp scripts and other things of the such. I'm looking around now because of future plans I have
