Not going to hold up in court... its just the latest round of 'election year posturing.' It makes the lawmakers look tough, the candidates can claim they are 'doing more to protect children'.. then the Supreme court will toss the whole thing out the window.
The whole 'obscene cartoon' issue has been dealt with repeatedly by the Supreme Court, and the result is always the same. If its a drawing its leagal, regardless of how tasteless it might be.

Ron Paul voted against this bill but he has zero chance of being nominated and I still can't make up my mind whether I like him or whether he also sees UFOs like Kucinich.

I agree with Grimfang too. This story and another story from my home town has had me up since 2am. In my home town a Jewish group wanted a Nativity scene that had been at the town hall moved. People went berserk. The town decided to keep it where it is which is a first in an attack like this. People called in from everywhere in the world.

Then this sweeping bill stuff of course is too broad. It's vindictive in it's design and just another means of intrusion to steal ideas from people's computers and to get back at critics.

As for the UFO stuff, it's a lot more serious than you may think. It's not the stuff of giggles anymore. I don't want to go into it as it's just too much for the public to deal with.

Ron Paul doesn't need the Republican nomination to run. He's come so far against so many odds it's unprecedented. Both parties have impossible odds candidates running and all Ron Paul has to do is let the other candidates say stupid shit which is inevitable.

Romney appeals to the terrified evangelical community who are so scared of everything they have to have an equally scared white guy leading them or they'll all end up in institutions with nervous breakdowns.

This coming year is gonna be a make or break point on how this planet will survive.

I wouldn't lose that much sleep over it, Greg. Just accept the Spenglerian concept that civilisations are organic beings that have a birth, life and a death. For what it's worth, we're inching towards the death part. On my end, this is partly why I am enjoying not participating in the so called real world of my past areas of work and working on the porn stuff. It's refreshing and I don't have to deal with UFOs.

You've undoubtedly heard how Xmas Santas in Oz are being advised not to say "ho ho ho" but "ha ha ha" because the former sounds like Snoop Dogg et al.

I have my US citizenship and have half a mind to register as a Republican in order to vote for Ron Paul's nomination, but I can't see myself joining any political party as a matter of principle.
