Newbie: How far away from reality am I?

VERY new at this and likely doing it all wrong. Would appreciate advice from the more experienced webbies. My site is www.pornbucket.net

The ost confusing part so far for me are all the requirements such as number of links, galleries, images etc. heeelllp!

I'm all in favour of "learning by doing" but equally important is learning by studying successful sites and seeing what they're doing right before you invest the time coding & building.

I'm a bit unclear as to what your site is supposed to be. Spend some more time on cozy re-reading past threads and questions.

If you're building a free site for link lists, go to penisbot and look at good freesites and follow those examples.

Thanks Bunny. My idea was to have some free images with links to direct visitors to my sponsor sights. Apparently if you didnt get that I am way off target!

She's right. I don't fully understand what your site is supposed to be, either. After some looking around it seems to almost be a TGP but then I'm not quite sure.

If you just want a site that promotes your own galleries then your layout and design needs to be changed, significantly.

As it stands now, all of those individual thumbs could be placed onto a single page. You've got a few pages that contain a row of thumbs followed by one or two banners, followed by another single row of thumbs. That makes looking at the site very difficult because, as phuckbunny observed, I don't know what your site is about.

Based on the current layout and design, I'm not even motivated out of curiosity to move on to the next page.

I guess it's some Microsoft application you used to create the site? Is it just HTML you have used?

I think it's possible to do what I think you want to achieve but it's going to be a lot of work. Now, if you want to continue along this direction that's fine but will suggest:

1. Listen to phuckbunny. She knows what she's talking about.
2. Place all of your thumbnails onto a single page.
3. Write alt tags for each thumbnail.
4. Go to your sponor and download a batch of descriptive text links with your code to those galleries.
5. Integrate at least 100 descriptive text links onto that same single page.
6. Integrate about 3 banners onto that page.
7. Read more of the Cozy lessons, make revisions, and hit us back here for another round of constructive feedback.

I took the site down for now and just replaced it with a full ad page for now. Going to start again from scratch.

I don't know if you have taken down youre site, but that is a TGP gallery with a warning page.
