You got to watch out because these free adult blog host come on the scene, last a while, then close their doors leaving your great traffic blog hanging.

With that said Thumbblogger and Twan have been around a while and appear pretty solid plus Thumblogger allows you to have your own domain now, which I do not think any others allow.

Yeah, free hosted blogs have the same downsides as free hosts.. in that they will insert banners and they can disappear with your traffic like cherilynn said.

I think it's best to get your own virtual hosting account, a domain, and set up wordpress.

Free hosted blogs are a good tool for the more experienced webmaster to generate more traffic.

Hey Monica and/or anyone else: Not asking to give away all your secrets but can you give a hint about the way one can use this technique?

I built a couple of blogs, splogs really, on sensualwriter and they were giving me a couple of hundred hits a day which was great for a high converting sponsor. Then the traffic started dwindling big time.

I also did not interlink much with my good blogs, for the most part. According to what Mediaguy said this is apparently a smart move b/c google is looking down on too much interlinking b/w sites?

Since its seems free hosted blogs will be downgrded by the SEs be it sooner or later, would inbound links from these low quality sites be of any value?

Viking too seems to have changed his opinion on using a network of feeder blogs/splogs to feed the main ones.

Also, any opinions on duplicating content and using your own RSS to feed other sites though with different looks and themes, etc?
