Here's the thing with escort sites. First of all, in Florida (where I and the interested party both live), the escort business is not technically illegal but it's also not the safest business to be in. Second, I've done escort sites for girls in the past and none of them want to spend any money and I'm just not interested in taking on projects that involve throwing together a few pages about how she likes steak, traveling, and a good movie and then throw in some cheesy photos to show how hot she is.

So, the answer to the original question posed in this thread is that the escort business is not technically illegal in most of the U.S. but if you want to open yourself up to scrutiny by law enforcement it's a great way to meet guys.

Here's what attorney Larry Walters has to say on the subject.

I would say though that issues of pandering and such are a great deal different when you are doing specific sites for specific escorts, but I would still hardly think anyone could make a stretch for simply designing the site.

But girls can be "interesting" to work with to say the least.

I don't think it's all that strange to allow escorting but not prostitution. One involves being paid for sex, the other doesn't and there are many legit escorts out there that don't have sex when they go on dates.
