Whats the best type of tgp, the ones with all pictures, half pictures and half text links, of all text links?

I have noticed loads of single page TGP's showing only thumbs and no text links.

Best from what standpoint, as a submitter or a TGP owner? Please tell me you're not thinking about starting a TGP.

Those are mainly CJ's and have nothing to do with a real tgp whatsoever.

I have heard that it is good to put some text on the ones you submit to TGP's. It is not that the surfers will read the text but since you made the page why not add the text which will help the SEO of the page.

I do think guys read a tad especially as they glance thru. IMHO I think a few porny descriptive words can catch their attention.

CJ = Circle Jerk.

I find them quite annoying. It's when a TGP publishes a link or thumbnail that links to a page of banners and links that link to more links and banners.

TGP galleries wont help a lot on youre sites SEO anymore, but text is important nonetheless. It helps creating a gallery that are filled with content, and not only looks like a "bannerfarm".

Allso, to those using banners only....odd size banners do convert better than the standard 468x60 and 468x80. Surfers has become immune to those banners, and will only click if the banner really stands out.

Speaking as someone who's not anti-tgp or gallery as I think you may be looking for, I was told from someone who doesn't do this stuff that they don't click on anything that doesn't have thumbs or pics.

On the other hand, the hun, Richard's Realm, Persian Kitty, World Sex, etc. all have the best traffic and seo rankings when using text and not thumbs.

Also from my own experience I see the same. Text links give you better SEO, but do the surfers stick around read and click? I don't know, but ultimately, you have to get them there first right?

Due to future 2257 regulations I wonder how realistic it's going to be for US based TGP owners to allow thumbnails to be posted by others?

If 2257 will require me to have a model release for each erotic thumbnail someone else posts, I will have to go text only, publishing only thumbnails I create as permanent galleries.

no problem...a lot (most) of those pretty thumb display tgps use those thumbs as trade bait, so surfers dont spend much time on those sites before they get hyperblasted to another site that they didnt want to go to....while this can artifically create traffic, it does downgrade the value of each surfer..
