Where do submit lists come from?

Hello All,
Been lurking for a while, but decided to finally venture a post after reaching a significnat milestone...my first sale! I started about 2 months ago building free sites and posting to TGPs. I have developed a small list of about 12 sites that accept my galleries and give some traffic, but I just recently stumbled on another TGP that has dramatically increased traffic and yielded that first sale. My question is simply how do I best develop a list of TGPs? Should I continue to surf around and try at random? Should I jump to a service like Camelion? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. And thanks to al the admins and contributers that have made Cozy so darn helpful!

You'll get a list of about 2000 with chamelon and a daily updated database for new ones and elimination of bad ones.

I've been using them for a year now. You'll want to confirmer too if you want to save time.

hi there frequentflyer and welcome to cozy. If you have been posting freesites and galleries for 2 months I think it may do you good to post a sample in the critique forum to see why your sales are so low, it seriously helps a lot.

congrats on the first sale.

It takes time to develop a list of quality submit sites and no one is going to give up their list.... that being said, chamelion and advanced submitter both give good list of available tgps although you can develop the same list by trial and error.

hit the big guys and see where they link to and where people submitting to them link.

Balls deep, I have honestly been a bit gun shy about posting on the critique form, but I guess I should bite the bullet and take my medicine I don't expect a free ride and relize that no one would be willing to just hand out a hard earned list, but your advice on hitting the big guys is exactly the sort of stuff I need to hear.

Right now i am allso using the CS. (Yeah! I gt it for free...so!), but 90% of my TGP traffic are coming from 5 TGP's that i handsubmit to every day.

The pages you submit to tgp's are not called free sites, but galleries. Freesites are submitted to linklists.

If you have been submitting galleries now for two months, you would allso try to look into freesites, to expand you're possibility of more sales.

And yes, unless you have some heavy partner accounts, you should definately submit to more than 12 TGP's.

I agree, Linklist traffic is much more productive and last much longer, you can use the same galleries from your freesites to submit to TGPs.

I have a tough time agreeing with the part about free sites. I've been doing it fairly steady for two months now and my sales have decreased because it's cut into the time it takes me to not only submit, but concentrate on altering gallery construction for varying looks.

I also have problems getting galleries I build for tgp's and galleries I build for linklist free sites submitted without altering something on each.

I'm sure it's a personal thing; but I'm betting there's gallery guys out there that stay clear of free sites.

I actually have more luck with splogs and I'm not an ace blogger

Speaking of which, you gave a list here once about the best paid partner accounts. Do you know where that thread is? Was trying to find it. It's the end of the year and I have to spend some money or give it to the government so I was thinking of splurging if for no other reason than extra traffic.

I know World Sex and Richard's Realm, but you put up others too. Is World Sex worth it because that's a little pricey to get no return? I'll probably give it a shot anyway, but was wondering if I should have any concerns with them. I love their traffic rank

How'd you pull that off with CS? I'm jealous

I have never once submitted to worldsex / al4a , because of the wery various feedbacks of them. If you really want the best partner accounts (IMO) that you can buy for money, try out these:

Try to get a platinum account with shemp.
Try to get a submitter account with crawl.
Try to get a submitter account with tommys. (he allso accepts freesites).

These are not easy to get, but are well worth the effort.

16 pics on each gallery, max. 3 outgoing links and no blind links.
Build a warning and a index page from the template of you're gallery. Now you will get listed.
Then, build a warning, a tour, and a signup page that will take the surfer to you're main freesite page after signup....and submit these to AEN sites. (sometimes you have to build an extra gallery, remove some ad's or add some pics on the galleries on the aen sites, but just read their rules before submitting).

Don't forget to list the galleries, the freesites and the AEN site on you're HUB and blog(s).

Is this because of waiting lists or gallery quality (if this, what do they consider a quality gallery?). I'm going to check into these.

Also, what do you think I've thumbzilla. I've been tempted to check them out but can't understand their rules (that 30 different templates thing and how different). I even tried to email them with not reply.

Congrats on the CS. I think I'm dumping their link list submitter, not cause I don't like it or don't get accepted. There's just not enough results from free sites to me to make it worth the effort. A couple sign ups here and there and I know I could have created and submitted at least three more quality galleries that probably would have gotten me the same number of sign ups if not more with much less effort.

I might pick up their PA requester again and see if it does me any better or their are any new sites. I'm still a firm supporter of their tgp submitter and confirmer

Unless something changes I'm done with free sites. I'll put my efforts into splogs. Better results

Chameleon is oversaturated, and takes up way too much time if you are going to focus only on their products.

After my hdd crashed, and i got no reply from AS support, i was buying freesite wizard, and even if it takes me a tad bit longer to submit i am wery pleased with it.

Automation is good in many ways, but you just can't base you're whole buiseness on automation, it will kick you in the ass sooner or later.

I keep being told to read, read, read, cozy stuff and I have been. Somewhere along the line, I read that some sponsors include it free as part of your membership. It also named some of the sponsors. I could be wrong, but www.hpic.com may be one of them.

There's another submitter that does that too but I forget the name. Never tried that one. Auto Gallery Submit or something like that. It has the gold globe on the logo

All submitters does that...but that is NOT a free submitter.

I got a free copy of cs from a sponsor - Is it unethical to sub galleries from other sponsors if you receive a free copy. I think they may have a problem with it.
The sponsor I got it from had crappy sites.

I enjoyed cs and you can really pump the galleries out.

BTW - Porn Punk - a submit account from RR is worth it - $40 3 submits to the the TGP and 3 to the MGP section per day and the traffic was good.

Yeah, I used to use Richards Realm all the time. The reason I stopped my account is because I use a lot of his banned words and then have to rethink the gallery I submit to him and rewrite.

He bans words like "teen" and "slut" and those are to valuable to the search engines for me to not have them on most of my galleries.

Otherwise though I agree. I like his traffic a lot. I'm thinking of world sex and thumbzilla. What do you think of those?

Yeah, I have no problem paying the 29 a month for what I get back. I just don't like wasting my time or breaking even (though I like this better than losing) with partner accounts and paid content and etc.

I'm about to start splogging again anyway. I have a bunch of niche galleries I haven't used in splogs, but I would like to know more about those tgp's you mentioned and World Sex and Thumbzilla

Sponors have access to you're submit log over at chameleon, so unless you want them to close you're account, i wouldn't do that.

Better to pay for it then, doesn't add much value if you can only submit for 1 sponsor, unless they have a large varied portfolio of sites.
