Stat Counters

Hallo

My domains are registered with egeekhost, they provide web stats, but not server logs. Do link lists only object to free stat counter code on the site or is it all stat counter codes? I purchased Traffic Facts and now am not sure if I can use it.

I wasn't aware link lists rejected sites with stat counters, but it's been a very long time since I've submitted anything.

How many lists say they reject them?

I'm assuming it's probably just the free ones.

With most of the sites I was trying to submit to, they came back saying that there was code on my pages that they did not allow. I took the (invisible) stat counter off, and then my submissions were accepted.

If you are trying to track success of certain campaigns you should be able to do that through your sponsers with a tracking code on your links to said sponser. If it's not standard in your code list, email your sponser and find out if there is a way to do it.

Anything with extra code going to TGP/MGP's or Link Lists are going to present a problem. They like things clean. You might be able to get away with it in blog submissions because there is so much code and plug ins on blogs to begin with it's hard to isolate one particular code to reject
