Darn it! One of my blogs is becoming successful!

I can't believe this!

I have a blog that I just use to go off on the news and topics of the day. It's beating all my hardcore blogs by 300 to one in traffic! People are even subscribing to it! I'm getting fan mail too!

Might be because I've always gotten paid to write too. Been a pro writer for almost 30 years.

Anyhow I thought my blogs with big butts and boobs would be the traffic winner but I guessed wrong.

Doesn't appear to be - you need to monetise your site. Google Adsense , Amazon are just a couple of mainstream sponsors I would consider.

I'm hunting fast now for an affiliate program to use on the site. Something mainstream.

The blog is less than a month old I think and I didn't expect it to get so much attention so soon. I didn't realize the power of other blogs and websites using rss on my ass.

Soon as I see what I can sell I'll slabby it up on the site.

I first thought of Adsense but I still don't know enough about Adsense.

Adsense is a no brainer. You go through the wizard and pick the size of the ads, the link colors and BAM they give you the code to paste on your site. You can use several (up to 3) different Adsense blocks on your blog so I'd recommend starting at least with the 120x600 or 160x600 ad in your sidebar. The rest is automatic because their script looks at the text on your page and serves up appropriate ads.

True and even though I'll half apologize, I'd still like to figure out what all these "glory me" posts are about from someone who I believe claimed to have 10 years of successful business on the web.

Thanks Hammer. I'll go back and look at adsense.

I'm noticing all sorts of goodies that break off from a blog and now realize why you endorse them.

One thing that happened was I found three offers to write for other people's blogs in my email box.

I don't know what to charge and offers differ but I was looking for a good trade deal. Barter can do wonders! That's something I'm seeing a great deal of, people trading things instead of paying in cash. You can get some awesome deals! I think Ebay has revived all this. Why get paid $1k to save up for a car when someone can trade you a car they don't want or need and can write off?

The news had a story about a kid a few months ago who showed how he could trade from something simple all the way up to a house.

Amazon also a good bet, they have a program similar to adsense where they scan your text and post relevant Amazon products.

Its also a good idea to include a currently reading section in your sidebar with your link codes. Heck you don't even have to read at all, just pick them off the bestsellers list.

just goes to prove that mainstream sites are way way way more popular in the search engines than adult ones. Every mainstream site I make does well, adult hmm not so well..
