Hi everyone,

I came across this thread, I don't know where from, that I saved on my hard drive years ago.

"Saw Aga post that Avenue/FCI targeted UK surfers for a while.. then sent an update to infected surfers that took 30% of Meat/Aga's UK Traffic overnight (30% of yours and mine too, but we weren't aware) The software apparently detected when a surfer hits the join page of an adult site... and automatically changes the referral code to their own code.. or redirects the surfer off to another site or whatever.

Doe's anyone else feel ripped off?"


Is this true? If so, how can one combat this?

Zango. The cheating scammers over at AFF were using it and screwing their own affiliates.

Not all of them are related to AFF and Zango though. Another one I've seen is where a movie gallery would require a codec download to view the movie clips. The coded would be a trojan that would switch refcodes when the surfer then visited paysite checkout pages.

AFF is not the same as zango.
AFF baught a service from zango that fucked their affiliates.
Many other sponsors and traffic dealers allso use and praise zango, they just don't brag about it.

If you are big enough, it is ok to screw other ppl. You don't have to look too hard to see those that are hugging both zango and torrent sites like their most beloved.
