Totally confused

Hi,

I have reworked my site, using the advice I have been given. Some people still say I have a banner farm, others a tgp, others like the site and wish me good luck. Some say that link lists will not accept my site. I want to submit to link lists, but do not know what what sort of site I have now, or what type of sites to submit to. Please can someone put me straight!

A free site: A site where the surfer get content or anything else you have on you're site for free, without have to pay for a subsription or a members area.

A freesite: A site that are built mainly to submit to linklists, wich contains of 1 warning/index page, 1 mainpage and 2/3 galleries.

You are in the first category, and these sites are used as landingsites, not to be submitted to linklists.

If i had been you, i would have forgot about the site for a moment, picked up some knowledge about how to build galleries and freesites and turned the whole site into a hub.
A standalone free site, wich you have, will never get visitors or gain income unless you will be spending huge amounts in buying traffic and promoting....even then a site like that is hard to convert.

Viking seems to have pretty much nailed it.

The biggest problem I see is that you have no way of gaining traffic with a site like that. You won't get SE traffic, you can't really trade, and you can't submit a site like that to many places.

I know it's tough but sometimes you have to cut your losses, we've all probably done it before on certain projects and it's a necessary evil to prevent you from continuing to throw good after bad.

I would say shelve that site and start to think about a new project or direction.
