the real treat was I had no idea what it was going to look like. He drew it on from scratch with no reference material. I watched it take shape as he tattooed.

Six hours is a gruelling ordeal. The longest I've sat for is five.

That's a nice one. Six hours is impressive. I think I sat for about 4 hours for my first tattoo. A tribal Superman logo which wraps around my upper arm. When he was doing the inside of my arm, it was sheer torture. Had I not paid for and voluntarily undergone the procedure, it would've 100% qualified as cruel and unusual.

I have a quarter sleeve on my one arm and i can verify that the inside of the arm is not the most pleasant of places to be tattooed.

I think what hurt most so far was my armpit and behind my knee... OUCH!
