Recip Links Question

Hi All

If I am to submit free sites and galleries to Link Lists like Tommy's Bookmarks and Elephant List for example, How do I possibly put a recip link on pages that are provided by a sponsor and I cannot edit?

One sponsor I have provides recip links on free sites they offer but its at the bottom, and most LL's require it at the top above the Enter button.

I am hesitant about submitting until I learn more about what I am doing because I don't want my IP and all blacklisted. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Also, a lot of LL's state no JavaScript on the gallery pages. I use a banner rotate script that does nothing but rotate the banners of my various programs. Would this cause me to get blacklisted too?

You can't submit sponsor's sites you have to build them yourself.

You can't use scripts for any reason. All TGPs and linklists use scripts that automatically reject galleries and freesites with any scripts on them.

yep, hammer is right... as usual. you need to host and build any freesite yourself for linklist. Thats always a rule.

As Hammer said, you have to build and host the galleries and freesites you'rself.

You can use the free content sponsors are providing, and then build the sites/pages you'rself.
To get a better view on how to do this you can visit some linklists and TGP's, and see how others are doing it.
Be aware that some of the sites/galleries might be sponsor filler material laid out by the owner of the site.

Scripts = Instant banning.

Normally people are using a auto, or a semi auto, submitter to submit galleries.
There is allso possible to use a manual form-filler to submit freesites.
Personally i use advancedsubmitter in manual mode for both things.

So basically I need to build good looking clean galleries that adhere to the rules of the TGP or LL I am submitting to. What about the recip link? Do I have to build different versions of the same gallery in order to adhere to a particular TGP or LL? For example, if one LL requires the recip link to be above the ENTER, and another has the same requirement, do I need to build a seperate page for both TGPs? I know that sounds kind of dumb, but I noticed that each major TGP (except The Hun) requires recip links above the Enter button, and some only want theirs or perhaps 2 more. Each has its own rules, and I wondered if WMs built different versions of the same gallery when rules conflict.

Thanks again for the advice. I am studying real hard the Cozy Academy and I seriously want to learn the business and earn from it.

I have been studying the academy. I guess I am a little confused on the difference between a TGP and a Link List.

Sites like The Hun, Tommy's Bookmarks, Link-o-rama, and The Elephant list are TGP's right? I am not sure about the Link List sites. To me they both seem to really do the same thing.

I know that some sites have daily galleries posted where some of the galleries link out to other sites. Other galleries that are updated daily are wthin the site itself.

The academy, does not seem to make a clear distinction, or maybe some sites have become hybrids of the different tyoes so that its harder to see the examples.

A gallery is one page with thumbs on it, usually 15-20 thumbs, that links directly to full size images. Normally there are 2-3 outgoing sponsor links and not too much (if any) off site links on that page. A gallery will be submitted to a TGP. A TGP is pichunter.com , shemp.com ...

A freesite consist of 4 pages. A warningpage, a mainpage and two galleries with various numbers of thumbs on them. freesites are being submitted to linklists. link-o-rama , penisbot etc...

Then you have sites that accept both freesites and galleries, like richards realm, persian kitty, tommys-bookmarks etc.

There are a huge difference between a linklist and a TGP so this should be you're first mission.... read, read, read and read some more. try to build....read, ask, read..build... and then do the whole thing over again.

In time you will get it.
Belive me wghen i say it took me more than 6 months only to understand the different terms in this industry. It might looks easy from the outside of things... but what the hell... what doesent look easy from the outside

Not only am I studying the Cozy Academy, I am also going out to Tommy's, Elephant List, etc, and studying the links that have been submitted and accepted. This way, I can get a good idea of what is required. Thats one of the things the academy said to do

I am working on getting something together that hopefully will work and get listed.

Just be sure to spot the difference on FHG's that are loaded from the site owner and submitted sites/galleries from submitters.

By FHG I assume you mean Free Hosted Gallery.

How will I know the difference? Both the site owner's and a submitter's links will usually go out to a sponsor's gallery won't they?

How will I know if its the site owner's link or an actual submitter?

look for referral ID's or NATs strings in the gallery URL.
