Wordpress: Which version?

I was curious as to which version of Wordpress people here use, and which one they recommend the most?

I'm currently using 2.0.5. There was a reason I didn't use the newest release, but I totally can't remember now.

I use version 2.2, simply because I was not given much choice... its the only option that was made available to me at the time. I never used the older versions, so I have no clue what the differences are.

I use 2.02 and have no intentions of upgrading. If I upgrade I'll run into issues with some of my plugins not working and it's not worth the hassle. Obviously for anyone just starting the latest version should be used. When I start new blogs I'll install the latest version.

I run about anything between 1.5 -> 2.2
Can't upgrade, as that will trigger a bomb in Irak and a lot of innocent people will die.

Darn it, I wish I could remember why I chose not to use the newest version. I should check that all my plugins and the theme I'm using will work with the latest, and if they do, perhaps I should just upgrade.

Hammer, I think you're right in using the newest version on a fresh install. I have older versions running on older sites and don't intend to upgrade them.

I think each new upgrade triggers said bomb. If upgrading I would hold off untill all bugs are fixed which seems to take betwen weeks and months. I can't remember which version I'm using but it's stable and not the newest.

I have upgraded blogs all the way from 1.5 to 2.2. Havent had any issues at all yet. Perhaps a plugin here and there but there was always a newer version ready to go. There is a link on wordpress to upgrade and it really does a good job of explaining the procedure

Yep, Wordpress is free.

I haven't had troubles upgrading before, but I'm good at tinkering around with scripts and making them work.

started with 1.5 (i think) moved up to Ella version (the one named after Ella Fritzgerald. The only major difference I see is the widgets section.

Word press is solid as a rock.

If its a new blog,get the latest version

If its an old blog if it aint broke dont fix it
