Canadian Dollar Jumps to 30 year high!

SO today the Canadian Dollar jumped to a high of 94.59 U.S. cents, and economists are predicting that by as early as next year that it will be trading at par with the US Dollar. What are your views on this as a canadian, and or an American. Do you think it's going to start affecting your income dramatically since most paysites solely charge in American currency? Or do you beleive that it won't really effect you in any way.

My income has been DRASTICALLY affected over the last three years.

On a thousand dollars, I used to make 600 dollars.

Now, on a thousand, I make less than 90.

As you can see, that's cut my monthly income by an enormous amount, and I'm very unhappy about it.

But, nothing much can be done, and it just means I've had to work extra hard to increase my income. Hopefully one day, the dollar will swing in the opposite direction.

Before I got into this business I always wanted the canadian dollar to top up, now that i am in it and most of my sales are in american money i hate it lol... I am a canadian that wants his dollar to go back down!

With the weak US dollar to the British Pound and the Euro, if you want to get into some good money, you have to go after the European customers. It is bargain basement prices on US goods and services right now (if you are holding Euros or pounds).

Funny that you ask, as I was just about to ask about Euro-Marketing. Almost all of my pageviews outside of the US are from England and Germany.

My members come from the U.S., the U.K., Germany and Australia - in that order. And yeah, the strong CAD dollar is hurting me too.

Adult website memberships have been sold in US dollars since Al Gore invented the internet and will remain that way for a long time.

I tend to categorise my traffic in terms of US and EU. Rather than US and UK / Germany / France etc. If you do it this way you will see that the EU is now a significant proportion of your revenue.

The US dollar will continue to depreciate. The US economy has slipped to second behind the EU and will slip to third or fourth behind China / Japan / India in the next decade.

Canadians please spare a thought for webmasters in the UK where one US peso is now worth 0.502110 sterling!!!!!!!!!
