Hub / Free site Examples?

Hi all,
Any examples of good hub/free sites that you know of? I am still looking and learning before jumping in, however i do have my hosting and a few domain names waiting.

I deceided to build free sites as an affiliate. Good idea/ Bad Idea?

hey doc, welcome to cozy.

you can see some examples of free sites on my blog. the bottom far right sidebar has a small list of free sites that have been accepted to major linklist.

Freesites are a great way to learn the ropes and are a source of quality traffic.

Try browsing thru a few of the big LL for examples such as Linkorama, Tommys Bookmarks, Penisbot etc.

If you're looking for actual 'freesite' examples, the suggestions given already should help, but I can't tell if that's what you mean or not. Are you looking for 'hub' examples or 'freesite' examples?

I'm not going to post any hub examples, but a hub can be done many ways. The most popular way is to build what amounts to a fake TGP and post your own galleries and sponsor hosted galleries instead of other webmaster's. Personally I think a blog would make an excellent hub and be more effective than a TGP style hub.

All a hub is is a place to put the freesites and galleries that you build really. I also recommend adding advertising for other things as well.

Build good freesites, and you will have two galleries to submit on every freesite.

a HUB is only freesite to gather all the freeloaders typing youre domain... my best stats with them in april was 15K:1....so don't expect gold.(that is from freeloader traffic....and so...)

Like I said, the best hub anyone could create would be using a blog. You add every gallery you build and create categories for all the niches. Everything is automatically categorized and archived and done properly, should result in lots of SE traffic.

Wow! that was fast! I am talking about both. but if the hub is a dead end I'll not waste my time. Hammer, the blog sounds good but I am not a writer. What to do? It was my understanding that a blog needs fresh content all the time.
