AVS and Traffic
Are AVS sites still a good source of traffic for paysites? I was reading through the terms for some and noticed that most say you can not link to your sponsor/affiliate sites. So, how would you get traffic from an AVS to your paysite?
I know I'm probably overlooking the obvious. |

I haven't touched AVS in years, so I'm not sure if it's the same as it used to be.
It used to be that you could build small feeder style AVS sites that included up to a certain maximum number of links to sponsors. The next level of site you could build had to have less, and the next one allowed only one or two, or sometimes none at all. Perhaps they don't do it that way anymore. |

That's the way I thought it worked pretty much too. But it's been years since I'd looked into AVS sites at all myself.
My site has been around for almost 7yrs but lately we need fresh new traffic and I feel like I'm starting all over again. |

AVS sites still work as a main site, but the days of building lots of small AVS sites, getting them added to the AVS directory and using the member area to drive traffic to a pay site are over.
