Trial or no trial?
As I configure my affiliate profiles with sponsors, I'm being given the option of redirecting potential customers to trial signups or full sign ups. Anyone have any success of one over the other?

it depends on what sponsors you are promoting and thier ability to hold members. If you have sponsors that hold members then full signup would be best as you will get the rebills. If your sponsor converts great but can't hold a member for more than a month then trial would be better.

Trials generally convert a little better than full memberships for paysites.
So it's a numbers game. If they pay the same. Go with trials. If trials pay less, you'll need to look at the number of trails you need to get to make the same amount as a full membership. If it's 2 or less, I'd still go with trails. If not, it's worth sending traffic both ways to see which creates the better profit margin.

If it is PPS, send them to a trial.
If it is rev.share no trial. That is what works best for me anyway. |
