strange... I have one thats blocked, which was expected. But I have one site that apparently does not exist according to them... I keep getting a message that says "This page does not exist or could not be tested due to technical reasons!". Not that I really care... since adult sites are banned in China anyways, its not a concern for me. I have enough on my hands already trying to hunt down the customers in countrys where my sites are legal.

EDIT: I just tried one of my mainstream sites, not connected to porn in any way, and its listed as BLOCKED. Hilarious.

My question is this: How do we know this thing is accurate anyways?

By current estimates, the migrant laborers and city employees make an average of about 11000-12000 yuan( roughly $1400) in a YEAR. That's roughly $120 USD per month.

$500/month would make you a rich man in China......

If you think about it, it's also the reason why piracy is so rampant in China. An official Hollywood DVD is 1/4 your month salary...... :-(

Farmers(the vast majority in China) make WAY less. According to one of the articles, they make $285/year.

It may be a shit site. I thought it was serious (I found it on an Xbiz forum and thought it seemed cool)..


I tested "yahoo" and it showed up banned. Maybe the Chinese Yahoo shows up okay, but I've lost interest to see if that's the case.

Sorry if I jumped the gun. It was all good intentions. But this may be a hoax site.

True. But in business it's all about growth.

The middle class in China is growing by double digits while in America it's actually shrinking. This won't harm America as a country since the middle class is only needed for it's labor and it's consumer spending and both can be found elsewhere through globalization.

China is a potential HUGE market with 4X the population of the the U.S.

We in the western world need to do everything we can to hook the Chinese people on gaudy, tacky, conspicuous, capitalistic consumerism as soon as possible!!
