question about redirecting

I have built seeral galleries, i'm posting them on tgp, they all accept most of it, now i just realize that they are redirecting??? I go on the tgp where I post, see my pic, when I click on it a new tgp page open, I have to click on my pic at least 3 time before my galleries open!! Is this the way things really work??
Also anyone could tell me if blue loot is a good sponsor, do they cheat, is it converting well???

What you are seeing is "skim" traffic. The script on the TGP re-directs a certain number of requests to other galleries or trade partners.

It's also a method of building a sense of trust in the surfer towards the adult industry as a whole [/sarcasm]

I have no experience with Blue Loot so I can't help you there.

you are posting to tgp's that skim traffic, this means that even though the surfer clicks the gallery link it may take 2-3 clicks of the same pic before he really see's what he wants, your gallery. The clicks that you see before your gallery are forced by the TGP to benifit either his galleries or his traffic trades. This is just another reason that TGP's are a dying machine and people are moving toward blogs. Surfers are getting sick of the run around.

I'm all in favor in making the surfer experience as pleasant as possible. However, I don't equate pleasant with giving away the main course.

Could you imagine hookers giving away free blowjobs in the hope of getting clients to pay for more service....It would be intersting to see what happens to the business.

If it is taking you that many clicks then they are trading very, very heavily almost to the point of being a circlejerk. You might want to take a look at the TGP before you submit to it to see how heavily they trade and decide if you even want to submit to them...
